Cairn Toul, Devil's Point and Angel's Peak from Linn of Dee

Sunday 21st April

Walk Description - Bike/Hike

This will be a big day in the Cairngorms from Linn of Dee but we will be using bikes to get into and back from Derry Lodge to cut the time down.

Meeting at Linn of Dee we will cycle to Derry Lodge before hiking the 7km into Corrour Bothy. Climbing the path at Coire Odhar up to the plateau we then have the choice of which munro to peak first. Heading NW to the furthest point of the day its approximately 3km and 300m to The Angel’s Peak where we can look north across the corrie to Braeriach. We will then re-trace our steps a few hundred meters before catching a westerly path onto Cairn Toul which at 1291 meters is the highest point of the day.

We will then return to the SW and before heading back down Coire Odhar we will nip up to the top of Devil’s Point before returning to Corrour Bothy and the hike/bike back to Linn of Dee.
