Sept 2019 - Lagangarbh. Glencoe
Lagangarbh, Glencoe
Date : 15th-17th July 2022
Spaces : 12
Cost : £40 (2 nights)
Lagangarbh is the picturesque little white house visible on the left of the road as you drive north through Glencoe. It’s a Scottish Mountaineering Club hut, often previously used as Cioch meet venue. It has been upgraded since we last used it in 2019.
Glencoe, in the south western highlands, is an excellent central location within a short drive to over 50 Munros. Buachaille Etive Mor is a walk straight from the door of Lagangarbh.
The accommodation does not include bed linen, so sleeping bags are required. Sleeping is on Alpine bunks. This hut has pretty good cooking facilities, showers and a warm, comfortable lounge. The nearest pub/restaurant is a short drive away at Kingshouse.
12 places booked for now but a few more available if we exceed this number of people.
